Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November of 1985 located in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained Minister of the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. A mere 10 weeks after the initial trial she took the sport, she finished second for 200m in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix completed high school in 2003, and became a part of Adidas an agreement as an athlete in professional competition. In the following year, she was a student at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set the new world junior record. She was the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters in the 2005 Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at the Olympics at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo consistently placing within the top three in all her races.
